Intel Computing Improvement Program is an optional background service that helps improve the performance, reliability, and user experience of PCs by collecting anonymous usage and system data. When you opt in, it gathers information such as hardware and OS details, driver versions, general application categories and feature usage, and reliability metrics like crashes and error codes. It does not collect personal content (for example, documents, emails, photos, or the content of your browsing). Data is de-identified, may use a random device identifier to recognize repeat submissions, and is transmitted over encrypted connections for analysis in aggregate.
Participation is voluntary. You can review settings, pause or opt out at any time, or uninstall the program without affecting your device’s functionality or your ability to receive updates. The service is designed to run quietly with minimal impact on system resources.
